Are you Looking to Join a Crew or Guild? (closed)

Are you looking for a few good Pirates to join your crew? Or are you looking to start or join a guild? Then join Captain Walter and the Marceline Guild on the docks of Port Royal for a Crewing Party this Friday, January 23 between 7 - 9 PM Pacific Time in the Barano Ocean. We'll teach you more about crewing and you may even get the opportunity to crew with a GM!

By crewing with other pirates, you not only make great friends but have a chance to experience adventure together (not to mention, get better experience awards like Crew Bonuses).

Will you join us Friday night? What crew are you in? Have you joined a guild?

I think that you need to make this event earlier or schedule another at an earlier time. If you really think about it, the event would start at 9:00 pm where I live and then, if you are on the east coast that would be 10:00 pm. Please take this into consideration.

it was very bad everyone was in chaos before and after the gm came, because there was not enough gms or enough oceans open for this event and my internet kept breaking up, everyone who wasn't crewed was mad, but good try it would be more fun with improvement.

the gm event sounded great and it was i got to meet a gm and i had lots of fun but the problem was not every one got a chance to meet a gm because the event was only in one server and it quickly filled up with desparate pirates. Yeah, I didn't get to participate in this event because the Baranro server was full. I was on the game TWO HOURS BEFORE the even even began, and the server was full. Honestly, I'm not pleased about that. You should have either A) Modified the Barano server just for tonight to accomodate twice than usual. Or B) Used more than one server. But yeah, not liking the fact that I missed out!

this was so disappointing. So crowded that there was major lag. only a few were chosen. some people waited around the enitre time and were never chosen. I waited an hour and was never chosen. There was nothing to do while you waited. No knowledge of how things were going to work. Please for future event, have people sign up and have to put in.........or work on something better, like more quests

Such a shame....so many pirates wanting to sail, but, only two GM's on one server made it next to impossible to be selected to sail. I would like to see this done as the Feat of Strengths were in that you offered it on several different servers and several different days.

It was cool idea, but could have been bigger. More servers, more captains. Really was just a lesson in crewing for beginning players. I thought we would encounter an EITC armada. Instead we boarded the Kingfisher flag, which I take solo as a matter of routine. Only challenge was competing (through lag) to get in a shot before other pirates killed them all.

I was there for this thing. I found it to be a pain that I kept getting booted off of the entire site. I also thought that there was no order to this. There were 1,000 of people and not everyone got to go. It was a poor attempot to invole everyone

I unluckily didn't get picked and it took me a hour and a half to go to barano ocean because it was full. I did however meet a founder from the founders guild and he was a blast to crew with. Next time see if more gms can play on different oceans at the same time please. Lots of confusing fun though. Also he told me of an upcoming event brought on by the founders and i cant wait to sign up.

I think the crew with Capt W was a fiasco. The server was full long before the event started. Some of us were on hours waiting and then got booted and booted and booted. I think it should have been on multiple servers and I think more ships should have been available with Capt W picking crews and design a lvl 40 or GM or original gamers to lead as capt of the ships. All in all after a 3 hour wait I never got on a ship, too many people not evnuf server room....

Thanks to everyone for your interest in our very first GM hosted crewing event! We knew the event would be popular but even we were surprised by the turnout! Unfortunately as a result, the server filled up quickly and early, so not everyone was able to join us.

Not to worry Pirates! We'll be having many more events like this in the future - to give everyone an opportunity to meet and crew with a GM. That means more servers, more GMs, and more days and times to accommodate all Pirates!
