Before I get too excited, I'd like to know the 2x limited rep reward is exactly. Does it mean you get a certain number of hours that you get double rep points? If so does it mean playing time (i.e. actual hours logged in instead of time passed logged in or not). When does the time start? As soon as you finish the quest or do you start it some other way? How much time is given? Thanks

I've actually never done this quest before. I can't wait! Teage has helped all of us pirates by enforcing the code and teaching us to be "Descent" pirates. Did you know he is pirate lord of madagascar besides keeper of the codex?

I can answer your question James! The quest is available to both Basic and Unlimited Pirates. It can be retrieved by visiting Captain Jack Sparrow in the Rowdy Rooster on Port Royal - Jack will then send you to talk to Giladoga on Tortuga - you will find Giladoga in the King's Arm Tavern. By the way mate, did you know that Giladoga is a nickname given by Captain Jack Sparrow? It's true! When the two first met Captain Jack was too groggy to pronounce Gil's given name, Gil Derga. Gil is also a member of the Black Pearl's crew.

Pirates, please read the note above regarding this quest - we're aware of a bug that is keeping pirates that played it last year from not being able to get the quest - we're fixing this. Also, we provided some mis-information when we first announced this Quest - it's Captain Jack Sparrow that gives you the quest NOT Giladoga. Jack will send you to talk to Giladoga and start you on your quest. The quest rewards x2 Reputation that can be used for 3 hours of game time.
